Write a list
I won’t lie. My inspiration has dried up. I don’t feel like I have anything to write about or anything to say! I’m just happily plodding along in my own little world, enjoying the Christmas lead up and everything it entails. Aren’t we all right about now? I always get this towards the end of the year. Almost as though I’ve given it my all and now I just want to sit back and relax a little. I feel like there’s not much more I can accomplish before the year is up, and to I just do nothing. (Apart from obviously the photography and social media work – girls gotta eat!) As the new year approaches I can’t help but plan for the months ahead. I’m a complete geek when it comes to planning and I really enjoy setting myself goals and writing little lists – who doesn’t?! Seems I have literally nothing else to write about, I thought I’d share with you my little list of goals. I’d love to hear yours too!
Break it all down
Short term goals – I’d like to be more organised! – She says writing a list. I need to sort out all my photos, my projects, my paperwork, my money, my life. Etc. It all feels a little jumbled and I’d really like to get it sorted.
Long term goals – So I’m currently writing a book (eek!) so the long term goal for 2018 is to have a first draft done by summer. I’d also like to travel long haul at least once with Daisy. The furthest we’ve travelled with her is to Turkey which was four hours, but we’d like to attempt America or Asia! (Wish us luck!)
THE goal – I want to be at least doubling my income by the end of the year. I’m not sure how that will go, but it’s worth a try. If not double then I would like to be earning significantly more. It’s not that I’m struggling at the moment, more that I undercharge for my work and have been told this on many occasions!
